Pricing questions, answered
A calendar month in which at least one confirmed trip (not cancelled) has its trip date. After the month closes we check: trips on the books? You get one flat $59 invoice. No trips? No invoice — nothing to cancel, nothing to pause.
After each month closes, months that contained at least one confirmed trip are invoiced at $59 via Stripe (payable within 14 days, hosted invoice link in your dashboard). Winter deposits for spring trips don't trigger a charge — billing follows the month the trip happens, not the month someone pays.
Only payments processed through your site (deposits, balances paid online). Cash or Venmo at the dock is your business — we record it if you log it, and never take a cut. Tips are never subject to the platform fee.
You do. Payments run through your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect Standard) — you're the merchant of record. Your money never sits in ours.
Yes, on every plan. Point your domain at us, verify with one DNS record, and we handle SSL. If you'd rather we register and manage one for you, that's included on Captain and at-cost (~$15/yr) on the other plans.
